Triple glazing has a further benefit in its ability to insulate against noise. Double glazing can help counter the noise entering a structure and triple just goes one step further in adding to the comfort level attainable.
Detailed Description
Carey Glass manufacture Vista Therm branded insulated units to EN 1279, the European harmonised quality system. Insulating glass units are fabricated according to the customers specifications and are can be constructed using a large variety of glass products to achieve desired aesthetics, meet design criteria, building regulations and/or to improve solar control and thermal performance.
Glass options include clear, low iron, high performance soft coat Low-E as standard or high performance (high selective) Solar Neutral, body tints, reflective, silk-screened, spandrel, laminated, decorative and wired glass.
The glass panes of an IG unit can be annealed, tempered or laminated and our size range from 175mm x 175mm up to 6000 x 3210mm means we can supply.
Vista Therm glass units are used in essentially all exterior building applications, including vertical glazing, sloped glazing, overhead glazing and skylights, and also in both vision and spandrel (non-vision) areas. Depending on the glass type used, IG units can be designed for: light and solar control, sound control, ultraviolet protection (to reduce fading), security, bullet resistance, and decorative applications, including georgian insert and leaded designs.
