Vista Vision

In a VistaBlind system, the blind (Venetian, pleated or roller) is encapsulated within two glass panes, e.g. in a double glazing unit. The movement of the blind, for manual or motorised systems, does not compromise the insulating properties of the D.G. unit, and therefore operates in a totally sealed environment.

Primary Uses

The exclusive VistaBlind characteristic’s ensures total protection against dirt, dust or weather conditions, and therefore does not require any maintenance. The magnetic components have an almost indefinite life cycle having a loss of magnetic attraction of around 2% per 100 years.

Various Types/ Models

The wide product choice and versatility of operation make VistaBlind systems suitable for all types of framing systems.

Blind Model

The VistaBlind product line comprises three blind models: venetian, pleated and roller blind. The venetian blind is produced with aluminium slats in a wide colour range, available in two different slat widths (12,5 and 16,00 mm). The pleated and roller blinds are realized using Verosol fabrics comprising a special aluminium layer on one side of the fabric that significantly improves heat reflection and light regulation.

Control Systems

P System

The VistaBlind SL20P system comprises a venetian blind incorporating a 12.5 mm slat designed to be integrated in a double-glazing unit with a 20 mm. cavity. The manual tilt only function is operated via a wire drive by an external cord/wand. The specially designed corner key containing the rotational magnet is connected to the external knob by a flexible drive cable located within the glazing cavity of the window frame. Due to the narrow cavity (20 mm), the system can be used in almost all types of existing window frames, whilst the special design allows the aesthetic quality to be maintained in whatever environment it is installed. The only visible control is the external knob fixed to the window frame, allowing the glass surface to remain completely free and easy to clean.

These particular features make the SL20P system ideal for public environments such as hospitals or government offices where a variety of people need to operate this simple but highly protected system. The VistaBlind SL20P may be modified to incorporate a 16 mm slat for integration in a 24 mm cavity unit.

C Systems

The VistaBlind system designed with the rotational frontal magnetic control, for raising and tilting a blind integrated within a double-glazed unit, utilises the force produced by two coupled rotational magnetic devices. One set of magnets is inserted in the blind head rail within the cavity and the other applied to the external glass surface. This magnet principle does not compromise the unit seal and guarantees the perfect integrity of the double-glazing unit. The Neodymium N35H magnets have an unlimited life and are resistant to high temperatures (+ 120°). With a simple rational structure and of limited cost with great functionality, the VistaBlind system with frontal rotational magnetic control can be readily transported for installation in standard double-glazing units with 20 mm, 22 mm, 27 mm and 32 mm cavities for venetian and pleated blinds, 27 mm cavities for roller, 27 and 32 mm for pleated duette blinds. The system is particularly suited to structural façades, however there are no limits to its application especially where a balance between its excellent technical qualities and refined aesthetic features are required.

M Systems

The VistaBlind SL20 22M and SL27M system is a significant improvement on previous electrical systems used for raising / lowering and tilting blinds integrated within a 20, 22 and 27 mm cavity D.G. unit. The improvements result in quicker installation procedures and a safer and smoother operation within the hermetically sealed unit. The motorised venetian, pleated, pleated blind or roller blind has an internal motor integrated within the blind head-rail which incorporates a micro control unit plus encoder which allows simultaneous and synchronized movement of groups of blinds. Glazing of the motorised blind unit requires no additional installation work. The absence of electric cables, fixing screws etc during unit manufacture coupled with our new ‘clipping' assembly system, guarantees total unit integrity.

Manufactured from high quality materials, coupled with the purity of aesthetic appearance and technical excellence, the system is particularly suited to prestigious projects.

S System

The VistaBlind SL20S is a manual system comprising a 14 mm pleated blind integrated within a double glazing unit with 20 mm cavity. The blind movement is achieved by moving a magnetic device positioned centrally on the outer surface of the internal glass across the glass surface. This external magnet interfaces with a similar internal magnet located in the moveable head-rail and it is so designed to absorb possible glass deflections. The application of Verosol pleated blind fabrics, coated with an aluminium layer on one side, reduces solar heat gain and improves U-value, whilst regulating the light passing through. Light transfer down the blind edge is eliminated by the use of special “L” shaped-side guides. The VistaBlind SL20S is an extremely versatile product with simplicity of control; the blind can be adjusted to any position at any inclination from 0° (horizontal) to 90° (vertical). The blind can be moved in every direction; from right to left, from left to right, from the top to the bottom and vice versa. The system is also highly modular; the basic model is installed in a 20 mm cavity, but can be easy integrated within 24 mm or 27 mm cavity. It is possible to install two blinds within the same unit. The seal integrity is not compromised in the SL20S system. The special features and the high product quality are an effective solution to the problem of light and heat regulation in garret/ attic environments, providing an easy and lasting solution of shading for roof windows, whatever the angle.
