Class A Safety Rating
Class A safety rated glass is a fire-rated and impact safety-rated glazing material which also blocks heat, protecting people and valuables on the non-fire side of the glass where heat transfer might be a concern. It is listed for use in doors, sidelites, transoms and wall applications.

Class B Safety Rating
Class B safety rated clear glass is an ideal wire-free laminated
fire resisting glass which can be used in a wide variety of frame types with a high tolerance to edge clearance, edge cover and glazing materials.

7.2mm integrity in steel
- 30 min with a max size 1195 x 1170mm - 712 x 1392mm

7.2mm integrity in double glazed unit

Class C Safety Rating
Class C safety rated glass provides a fire barrier in the most demanding circumstances. It is used increasingly in buildings throughout the world when cost-effective fire resistant glazing is required in windows, partitions and doors.

6mm integrity in hardwood
- 60 min with a max size 1120 x 3000mm
- 45 min with a max size 1120 x 2000mm
- 30 min with a max size 1135 x 3000mm

6mm integrity in steel
- 60 min with a max size 1170 x 3000mm
- 30 min with a max size 1760 x 3000mm

All glass sizes are tested to maximum sizes and not maximum sq.m2.
If a piece of glass goes over the maximum size on height but under on the width, please get clarification from our technical department as to what fire rating will be achieved.
