Galway Racecourse Tote Building Redevelopment

CareyGlass are supplying the glazing for the redevelopment of the Tote Building at Galway Racecourse.  The works will involve the demolition of the existing Tote building (450 sqm) and replace it with a new two storey steel-frame building featuring a large central hall space on each floor, Tote windows to 3 elevations at Ground Floor level, and a large partially covered balcony at first floor level. Total building area (including plant space) is 1,749 sqm. The building is required to be delivered within a tight timeframe (between the 2017 Galway Races summer festival and the 2018 summer festival) and certainty of delivery is critical. Architect: Coady Architects.
