Miesian Plaza

Summary

Miesian Plaza consists of three identically clad buildings, (Blocks A, B & C), built in two phases between 1968 and 1976 and constructed over a common basement. Originally designed by Scott Tallon Walker Architects the buildings are listed in the record of protected structures in the Dublin City Development plan (2011-2017)

Details

The works comprise of the dismantling of the glazing and cladding system to allow the removal of all sealant material within the system. The cladding system will be refurbished (finishes addressed, new sealants, brackets etc.) and reinstated. New glass and glazing seals shall be installed complete with thermally broken capping's internally, thermal insulation to spandrels and firebreaks throughout.
