This refurbishment and extension of an existing 45,000 sq ft office building in the City of London delivers 63,000 sq ft of prime office space. Located at a prestigious address close to St Paul’s Cathedral in a City of London.
Glass
The new development added a façade using Portland stone and a powder-coated aluminium curtain wall. Bespoke rainscreen cladding and steel frame system at the upper floors. Curved frame and glass on Goldsmith Street façade. Main entrance curved screen and revolving door.
Details
The property benefits from a new full height glazed facade to Goldsmith Street and new stone and glass facades to Gutter Lane and Wood Street. The sense of arrival is emphasized by the impressive double height glazed entrance at the junction of Wood Street and Goldsmith Street.
The development achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating.
Awards
The building was completed in autumn 2014 and was winner of the OAS ‘City Development of the Year Award 2015'.
