Georges Quay Plaza
Location: Georges Quay, Dublin city Centre, Ireland
Architect: Keane Murphy Duff
With distinctive pyramid-topped pillars that crown the Dublin city skyline, Georges Quay Plaza is a prominent office development project. The tower roof structures are a four sided pyramid with vertical sides of rectangular hollow section steelwork with associated steelwork link roofs between towers. The glazing and louvre system over clads the steelwork to give a uniform aesthetic appearance.
Bolted glass assemblies to ground/first floor, Structural glazed curtain walling system to the pyramid rooflights and various stainless steel feature fin and brise soleil systems.
The Georges Quay Plaza project won widespread acclaim as one of Dublin’s most successful office projects. Prior to completion, over three-quarters of the building were let, with only two-and-a-half floors remaining after completion. Tenants include prominent international banks and some of the largest fund management organisations in the world.
