Nobu Hotel London Portman Square
Location: 22 Portman Square, Marylebone, London, U.K.
Architect: BSBG London
The Nobu Hotel London Portman Square in conjunction with Robert De Niro’s luxury lifestyle brand, Nobu Hospitality, is London’s new place to be seen. Located a stone’s throw away from London’s Oxford Street, Nobu Hotel London Portman Square is the epitome of modern, intelligent hotel design. Many of the new elements are highly sophisticated, requiring first rate levels of coordination and detailed planning to integrate seamlessly with pre-existing areas of the building. In refining and enhancing the hotel’s external appearance, a new layer of design adds components that re-engage the building with the street. A stunning grand entrance and lobby space overlooks Portman Square redefining the hotel’s frontage. Maximising the podium area, the building features two tower blocks linked at ground level by a glazed atria space. Thoughtfully designed, the new 249-key hotel will feature a Nobu Restaurant, bar and outdoor terrace, plus a 600-person ballroom, gym, wellness facilities including a 140sqm Technogym-equipped gym available 24/7, as well as a pilates studio, juice bar and meeting spaces.
6mm 70/35 Low Iron, Toughened, Heat Soak Tested, 16mm Black Warm Edge Spacer, 8.8mm Clear Laminate, Argon Gas Filled.
The use of low-iron glass that is practically colourless provides the visual clarity demanded by architects, this glass type not only meets the thermal requirements of high-end commercial projects, but is also aesthetically outstanding.
Nobu Hotel London Portman Square will see the iconic Nobu Berkeley Street restaurant move to its new home in Marylebone. Continuing a 15-year legacy of exceptional culinary experiences, the Nobu Restaurant at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square will bring the flagship’s signature handcrafted approach to cuisine and service into a brand new space. With a contemporary approach to both aesthetics and hospitality, The Nobu Hotel Portman Square takes inspiration from Japanese architectural disciplines and minimalist design, whilst utilising a refined colour palette influenced by heritage Japanese colour combinations. The hotel is owned and developed by L+R Hotels; it marks the third collaboration between L+R Hotels and Nobu Hospitality, following the launches of Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay and Nobu Restaurant Monte Carlo. Guests will be able to book from a range of elegantly appointed rooms and suites across seven distinct categories - some boasting terraces with views overlooking Portman Square. Those seeking something more indulgent can choose from the One Bedroom Suite or The Nobu Penthouse.
