Summary

The Cathedral of the Holy Apostles in Bristol dates back to the mid-19th century. In 1965, a new cathedral was commissioned and the Pro-Cathedral of the Holy Apostles was closed and lay practically abandoned, until it was taken over by a development company for conversion into student accommodation.

The project featured 229 student units and involved the construction of a new building comprising of a large concrete frame and the part refurbishment of the existing Grade II* listed Cathedral, with a structured steel frame erected internally.
