Once famous as the base of the Home Office, Queen Anne's Gate is now the headquarters of the Ministry of Justice. When the Home Office moved to larger premises in 2005, a major refurbishment of the 1970s building was undertaken

Details

A major refurbishment project, the works included the stripping out of all the existing windows and curtain wall, inspection and repair of all the openings and the addition of new steelwork where required. All the new windows and screens were constructed using Blast Mitigating sections and glazing to bring the building up to the new security requirements, as well as greatly improving the environmental performance of the building.
